I did not come to marketing from marketing. I came to it from a consulting room.
I am Dr. Shubham Kale, an Ayurvedic physician based in Nashik. I completed my BAMS and went on to a Master Diploma in Alternative Medicine, and like most doctors of my generation I assumed that if the clinical work was good, the practice would grow on its own. It took very little time in the real world to learn how wrong that assumption is.
What I watched happen, again and again, was this: genuinely skilled practitioners — people with years of training and honest results — sitting in half-empty clinics, while patients in the same city travelled past them to a centre with better photographs and a faster reply on WhatsApp. The gap was never clinical. The gap was visibility, clarity and follow-up.
So I learned the other side. Digital marketing, website development, funnels, analytics, content, local search — not as theory, but by running campaigns for my own healthcare ventures first, where every rupee and every wrong decision was mine to absorb. I still do. Every strategy SK Brand Tech recommends has already been pressure-tested on a clinic I am personally responsible for.
Why we only work with healthcare
Marketing a hospital is not marketing a restaurant. There is a line between explaining your work and over-promising a cure, and a doctor knows exactly where that line sits — because we are the ones who face the patient when expectations were set wrongly. A generalist agency will happily write "guaranteed results" into your ad copy. I will not. Ethical medical communication is not a limitation on growth. Trust is what converts in healthcare, and trust is built by restraint rather than exaggeration.
When you brief us, you do not have to explain what an OPD flow is, why a follow-up schedule matters, what a treatment package actually involves, or why your therapist availability caps how many new patients you can accept this month. We already think in those terms. Our briefs go to work faster because half the translation layer is missing.
What the agency does today
SK Brand Tech works as the growth partner for clinics, hospitals, wellness centres and health brands: websites that convert, search visibility in the locality that actually feeds your OPD, content a practitioner is not embarrassed to publish, and systems that make sure an enquiry never dies unanswered.
I still see patients. I still run wellness units of my own. That is not a side note on this page — it is the qualification. I am not selling you a strategy I have never had to live with.
If you are a good clinician being out-marketed by a lesser one, that is a solvable problem. It is usually solvable faster than you think.
